Emergency response at high temperature fault site
1) Burning pot "is one of the common faults caused by high temperature in construction machinery. When the water temperature is too high, do not rush to open the radiator cover to dissipate heat, as it may cause hot water to spray out and injure people. It should be replenished after natural cooling; According to the operating experience and standards of construction machinery, when the operator discovers that the engine is "boiling", the operator should immediately stop the operation, do not turn off the engine, let the engine idle, and fully open the louvers to increase the air flow, so that the water temperature slowly drops under the action of the cooling fan, and the large bubbles generated by the cooling system are discharged.
After idling the engine for a few minutes, when the water temperature drops and no longer boils, wrap a towel or veil around the radiator cap and carefully twist a part of the radiator cap to release water vapor, ensuring that the water vapor in the radiator is released. Afterwards, unscrew all water radiator caps. During the process of twisting the radiator cap, be sure not to expose your arms and keep your face away from the top of the water inlet to prevent hot water splashing and burning your face.
If the engine has already shut down, quickly start the engine and let it idle; If the engine cannot be restarted after turning off the engine, close the throttle and shake the crankshaft with a hand crank; If there is no hand crank, the starter can be used intermittently to make the piston move up and down multiple times, and dissipate the heat inside the cylinder through the ventilation movement of suction and exhaust.
2) When adding coolant, it is best to add coolant of the same model as the water radiator. Do not add tap water randomly unless it is for emergency treatment. When adding cooling water to the radiator, be sure to wait for the water temperature to drop to around 70 ℃ before proceeding; The "progressive water injection method" should be used to gradually cool down, and the water should not be added too quickly or too quickly at once, that is, the engine should be idle and water should be added. While slowly adding water, the water flow should be maintained for a long time to ensure the safety of operators and equipment.
3) When the brake or other parts overheat, do not use water to cool them, as this will reduce their lifespan and performance, and cause deformation or even cracking of the parts. It is necessary to stop the machine and let it cool naturally.
Key points for daily maintenance of mechanical equipment in summer
1) Carry out preliminary maintenance work for construction machinery
It is best to conduct a comprehensive maintenance of construction machinery in summer, including replacing the engine's three filters and oil, changing or adjusting the adhesive tape, checking the reliability of the performance of the fan, water pump, generator, and compressor, and performing maintenance and repairs if necessary. Or replace it.
For machinery working in high-temperature areas, increase the viscosity grade of the oil appropriately and check whether the cooling system and fuel system are unobstructed; Replace aging wires, plugs, and hoses, check and tighten fuel lines to prevent fuel leakage; Clean the engine body. Oil stains and dust ensure that the engine is' lightly loaded 'and has good heat dissipation.
2) Do a good job of lubrication
Equipment lubrication is one of the important means to prevent wear and failure of equipment components.
Lubrication plays an important role in mechanical transmission and equipment maintenance. Lubrication can affect the performance, accuracy, and lifespan of equipment. The implementation of lubrication should first achieve "five levels and three levels of filtration" according to the prescribed lubrication time, lubrication implementer, lubricant product, location, and quantity, and inspect the storage filtration, distribution filtration, and refueling filtration. To reduce friction and wear, thereby ensuring the normal operation of the equipment.
During the hot summer season, the lubrication time should be adjusted first. Compared with spring and autumn, the time should be shortened by 0.5-1 times, and attention should be paid to observing the oil quality. The temperature of fatty oil can easily change. Lubricating grease gun can be used up to 3 times. If the temperature slightly increases and then slowly decreases after refueling, it proves that lubrication is effective. However, the lack of lubrication inside the bearing is only due to insufficient oil, resulting in an increase in temperature.
If the temperature does not change or only rises without decreasing after refueling, it proves that the bearing has worn out, or is severely lacking in oil, or even the internal oil is dry. Therefore, for grease lubrication, adjusting lubrication time, developing lubrication plan, and oil discharge time should be implemented.
The main focus of liquid oil is on emulsification. During the hot summer season, lubricating oil operates in an environment that is more than 20 degrees Celsius higher than in spring, autumn, and winter for a long time. So water will be produced, and then oil will be emulsified. The emulsification effect of oil will greatly reduce viscosity, doubling the original film efficiency of the lubricated part. It can be imagined that friction will double. Increase. Therefore, it is also necessary to develop a lubrication plan for liquid oil products, pay attention to inspection, take preventive measures in advance, and achieve predictive maintenance.
The summer maintenance of mechanical equipment should follow the principles of timely, reasonable, and comprehensive maintenance to facilitate equipment operation and adapt to external temperatures and working conditions. To track and manage equipment, grasp its performance dynamics, and develop targeted and universal maintenance plans.
